Can You Really Think & Grow Rich?

think and grow rich napoleon hillCan you really think and grow rich? The simple answer is yes. Napoleon Hill knew it in 1937 when the book was first published, and so do the tens of thousands of people who have used the principles to secure their own success, myself included. Here is my quick review, and why I think this is a book that should be on everyone’s shelf.

Mindset training should be a priority for anyone looking for success in business of any kind. Why do I say that?  Most businesses fail within their first year, so there has to be something that sets the successful entrepreneur apart from all of the others who quit. And what is that magical something? You probably guessed it – mindset.

Napoleon Hill figured this out in the early part of the 20th century. Enlisted by steel tycoon Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon’s assignment was to interview wealthy men, and find out what they had in common that had allowed them to create such wealth. Think & Grow Rich was the end result of more than 20 years of study.

While the writing style is a little dated and “folksy,” the knowledge contained in the book might very well be worth its weight in gold to anyone who embraces the principles it contains. Hill outlines 12 steps one must take in order to “be ready to receive” wealth, and forces you to take a deeper look at your own mindset and actions (or inactions) that may be holding you back.

The book covers everything necessary for the creation of wealth;  from initial desire to use of imagination, from the decision to act, to the importance of persistence in action. Think and Grow Rich is as relevant now as it was 70 years ago, and provides a simple blueprint to take you from your current financial situation, whatever it is, to one of greater abundance.

Whether you are a network marketer like myelf, or simply wish to aquire more wealth via other means (the steps work for everyone), this is definitely a book worth a read. If you are open-minded and ready to accept more success in your life, this book holds the key you’re looking for.

As a special gift, I’d like to give you the following Six Steps that you can use right now to begin creating more financial abundance in your life.

1. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say “I want plenty of money.” Be definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for definiteness is described in a subsequent chapter of the book).

2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as “something for nothing.)

3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.

4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

5. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.

6. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. AS YOU READ, SEE, FEEL AND BELIEVE YOURSELF ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE MONEY.

These steps were endorsed by Thomas Edison himself, not only the steps essential for the accumulation of money, but necessary for the attainment of any definite goal. They won’t cost you any money… just a few minutes of your time, and a little belief.

You can pick up the paperback edition of Think and Grow Rich for $8 on Amazon… kind of a steal if you consider how much wealth the book has the potential to help you generate. The audio CDs are also available if you prefer listening to your books.

Happy reading!

Awesome web page!!! You are truly a follower of Napoleon Hill's work.
This is one of the VERY FEW books that promises to help you determine Who you want to become? What it is you want to do? When it‘s going to happen? Why THE MISSION IS POSSIBLE? And how you’re going to attain it? All through the aid and application of the “unknown and unused knowledge and power” they termed the “Carnegie Secret.”

1. Ready-Think 2. Get Set-Grow 3. Go-Get Rich
