This girl has got it right. Ana Hoffman is my entrepreneur hero, and she should probably be yours too.
Owner of YourNetBizAttractionMarketingCafe.com, Ana was tired (as are most Internet-Preneurs) of sites using the “NoFollow” code and hoarding all the link-love. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s a quick rundown:
Search engines look at the sites that link to you when determining what your ranking should be. Big sites don’t want to link to little sites for fear of it hurting their Google ranking. Using the NoFollow code stops search engines from evaluating your site based on the ones linking to you – crappy if you’re little and trying to get some recognition.
Ana’s site is a meeting place for Internet Marketers – a place for the little guys to leave their links via comments and increase their ranking. It’s also an incredible way for Ana to attract new business, since she just won the heart of every Internet Marketer on the planet.
